We're two Australian dance mums who started dance for the same simple reason — because our girls loved it.
A few years ago, our girls met through dance. They became the best of friends and, somewhere along the way, we found ourselves happily thrown into the wonderful, exciting and sometimes completely chaotic world of dance competitions.
After a few years of competition days, we learned something: backstage is a whole world of its own.

Backstage Babe began when a product we relied on was no longer available. At first, we simply wanted to find a way to bring that kind of organisation back to Australian dance families.
But the more we talked, planned and dreamed, the more we realised this wasn't really about one bag or one case.
It was about making backstage life easier. A place for everything. Less setting up. Less rummaging through bags. Less searching for that shoe — and more time for the moments that actually matter.
ONE IDEA became something bigger.
Our dream for Backstage Babe is to create a collection of clever, beautiful and genuinely useful products for dancers.
Things designed by people who actually understand what competition day looks like — and made readily available for Australian dance families.
